bear, june, mt high, snow summit, lift access.
Thanks Danny!! I’ve updated the list!
this was to good to be true , in canada Mont-saint-bruno does NOT accept snow skates like you claim
…. nice site anyways
Hi Simon, I do not feel your pain because I have a snowskate and a Season Pass at Mont Saint-Bruno, Quebec, Canada. They DO accept them on the chairlifts, in the park, bunny hill, everything you know? please go to the mountain and ride strapless peace in mind.
Compliments of the chef!
Yan
but… i called and spoke to few people on the phone … they told me no , cause we cant strap in :S its kind of far away from home ,so i cant just go there and hop they truly accept
when i called mont saint-sauveur , they told me “only sutton allow snowskates” and there reason was about insurances issues
Mont Rigaud in quebec/canada alow snow skates
Hi Simon! Thanks for the info. I’ve updated the list. I’m not sure what to tell you about Mt. St. Bruno because I don’t live in the area. But it looks like Yan has some inside knowledge about it. Possibly the person you talked to on the phone didn’t really know what kind of “snowskate” you were talking about?? It’s only a guess. But, if you run into any trouble if you try to go there, email me with the details KendraWilsonNV@gmail.com. Thanks so much for stopping by and commenting!
ok ill keep you informed ,, but ive been told from few people that it is indeed a snowskate freindly resort , so yeah i guess i spoke to the wrong people on the phone ,or they allow it but dont want to much of it.
Yes, Simon, ST-BRUNO DEFINITELY ALLOWS snowskates. I go there every week from the past two years. Never a problem. Going there next week too, I KNOW i have the right to ride because I ride there everyweek.
PS: they almost always accepted them, St-Bruno also accepts snowscooters.
49 Degrees North near Chewelah, Washington is now snowskate friendly! Must ride on and off the lift, and they want you to use a strap.
Hi Mark! Thanks for visiting and for that information. I updated the list. Send me pictures of your snowskate posse riding at your favorite resort, and I’ll add them to this page!
Hey Kendra… My snowskate posse consists of… me! LOL. I’ve seen one other snowskater on my local mtn (49 North), but we’re far from organized.
In the meantime – here’s a video I threw together of me having some snowskate fun a few days ago. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9KEkfwZSKQE
The Lib Tech skate did quite well in the varied conditions… Or at least I think, with my whopping 3 days of snowskate riding experience!!
Hi Kendra ! the resort Val Saint-Côme in Qc,Ca allow snowdeck. You must add this place in your ski resort list
.
I started a facebook page Snowdeck Quebec for create a french community of snowskate. I need your support to find in Quebec the most snowskater possible . You have a strategie for me? Maybe have a link on your web site will help ?
Hi Maxime!
My computer broke, so I’ll add Val Saint-Come as soon as I get it back from being repaired. Thank you for reading. I’ll put up a link to your page as soon as I get my computer back!
Vail and Beaver Creek now allow Snowskating!
What happens at Mammoth if you get caught hiking and snowskating? Do all the lifts know not to allow snowskates?
We tried hiking. And, were very rudely kicked off by a snowcat driver.
He said, “This is a SKI hill.” We have really worked hard to get Mammoth to allow snowskates with no progress….yet.
New one in Quebec, Canada : Ski Chantecler —> lift access
http://www.skichantecler.com/en/index.aspx
Bogus Basin right east of Boise, ID just started allowing skaters this year all over the mountain
Bittersweet does not allow snowskates tried to and they kicked me out
Sorry about that Aaron! I’ve sent them an email to confirm and will correct the information once they do. Come to Tahoe!! We’ve got plenty of places for you to ride!!
Do any in Massachusetts or New York allow snowskates?
Badger Pass in Yosemite allows snowskates with a leash
Kendra, You can add Vail and Beaver Creek to the Colorado list! We are shredding the Beav on snowskates…oh yeah, Vail is pretty fun too…
Lakeridge Resort in Ontario Canada allows snow skates with a foot strap for lift access!
QC Ski Chantecler – no restrictions at all if you get a leash.
Hey, great list! Brighton is lift access (bi-deck + leash) as of last season. Thanks!
Red Mountain BC does not allow snow skates, not even up the t-bar. Insurance reasons were the excuse although I have seen snowbikes, snow dogs, luge’s, etc. We got in one night skiing session but today they decided to crack down and inform us that they do not want to entertain the idea. one for Whitewater, zero for Red.
Hi
i ‘m a new follower, i’m jef from france (09 10 crew).
Congratulation and thanks for this nice website, a great work.
You can add “Les Brasses” and “Arêches Beaufort” to your french list (north french Alpes, like “Le Semnoz”).
friendly and for snowskate
jef
